Nurturing the skills and talents of Hawaii's student flutists is a huge part of the Hawaii Flute Society's mission. Our flute choir program develops both musical and teamwork skills. Our lectures and masterclasses gives them valuable exposure to new ideas and concepts outside of their private lessons and music classrooms, and our concerts provide opportunities to work on their performance skills and build confidence.
The benefits of an HFS student membership are:
- Admission to all HFS-sponsored rehearsals, events and concerts
- Participation in our flute choir program
- Subscription to our email newsletter including flute info and local concert listings
Student Membership for our Honolulu Flute Club
Based on our 2017-18 Season, a $20 student membership comes out to less than $1 per event. A limited number of scholarship memberships are also available. To be considered for a scholarship membership, please ask your teacher to recommend you by e-mailing aloha@hawaiiflutesociety.com.
