Mae Masuda-Kop is the Music resource teacher at Salt Lake Elementary School. She studied flute with Aileen Kawakami and Jean Harling, and has participated in the Christmas flute choir performances for sixteen years. She has attended The National Flute Association Conventions in Boston, San Diego, Florida, and New York. For Mae, playing the flute is not only a means for expression, but also an opportunity to have camaraderie with other flute players.
